Bernard Arnault elected "Personality of the Year" by La Revue du vin de France

The Wine Review of France ("La Revue des vins de France), the world oldest magazine dedicated to wine, awarded its annual prizes on January 11th in Paris. The prizes reward personalities from the world of wine in France.

The "Personality of the Year" award was given to Bernard Arnault, Chairman and CEO of LVMH. According to the organization, it recognizes the businessman's contribution to making Moët Hennessy (the letters "MH" of LVMH) the world leader in luxury wines and spirits.

According to the review, Bernard Arnault has redirected the company inherited from his father and grandfather, focusing on the pillars of fashion and wines. He has thus built an empire that places him among the world's largest fortunes. The complete list of prizes awarded by Wine Review of France includes the Winegrower of the Year, awarded to Claire Villars-Lurton from Bordeaux, and the Brand of the Year, awarded to Champagne Philipponnat.
