Airbus Helicopters to Supply 11 H145s to Czech Police, Including Training and Logistic Support Package
Airbus Helicopters and the Czech Ministry of the Interior have signed an agreement for the delivery of 11 five-blade H145 helicopters. These aircraft will replace the current fleet of nine H135s and will be operated by the Czech Police Aviation Service for law enforcement, search and rescue, and emergency response missions.
The contract signed on Wednesday between Airbus Helicopters and the Czech Ministry of the Interior involves 11 H145 helicopters intended to equip the Czech Police Aviation Service. These aircraft will replace a fleet of nine currently in-service H135s. The contract includes not only the delivery of the helicopters but also a comprehensive training and logistics program to ensure operational integration. The H145s will provide better tactical range and increased payload capacity compared to previous models, while reducing maintenance needs through advanced digital systems.

The transition from the H135 to the H145 offers crews and maintenance teams a high degree of system commonality, ensuring immediate operational availability upon deployment. The H145s are equipped with two Safran Arriel 2E engines featuring full authority digital engine control (FADEC) and Helionix digital avionics. The aircraft incorporates a high-performance four-axis autopilot, enhancing safety and reducing pilot workload. With a particularly low acoustic footprint, the H145 is the quietest in its class, while also displaying the lowest CO2 emissions among its competitors.
A Globally Proven H145
More than 1,800 H145 helicopters are currently in service worldwide, accumulating over 8.5 million flight hours. Several European state police operators, including German forces, the French Gendarmerie, and the Lithuanian Border Guard, already use this platform.
