Capgemini Deepens Partnership with Microsoft on Sovereign Solutions
Capgemini has announced an expansion of its strategic partnership with Microsoft to provide clients with an integrated managed cloud service offering, aimed at incorporating sovereignty, compliance, and business continuity into digital and business transformations.
End-to-End Sovereign Solutions
The partnership aims to enable Capgemini to offer end-to-end sovereign solutions that help clients accelerate the adoption of the Microsoft Sovereign Cloud portfolio and artificial intelligence technologies. The collaboration builds on Capgemini's deep industry expertise and Microsoft's sovereign cloud capabilities. Capgemini plans to assist clients in defining and operationalizing their digital sovereignty strategy, including comprehensive assessments, risk exposure evaluations, and the delivery of recommendations tailored to specific needs.
Industry-Specific Solutions
Capgemini plans to develop industry-specific solutions covering financial services, public sector, defense, telecommunications, life sciences, manufacturing, and critical national infrastructure. These solutions are based on four pillars: sovereignty by design in digital transformation and artificial intelligence, intelligent risk and compliance management, operational continuity and resilience, as well as automated data protection through AI-powered cyber defense and encryption services.
A Longstanding Collaboration
Capgemini and Microsoft have maintained a partnership spanning over two decades and have supported clients across various industries in their cloud transformations. In 2024, Capgemini and Orange launched Bleu, a jointly created trusted cloud partner in France to meet the specific cloud needs of the French State, public agencies, hospitals, regional authorities, Operators of Vital Importance, and Operators of Essential Services, utilizing Microsoft's cloud technologies.
