Abionyx Pharma: €1.9M in Revenue for H1 and Cash Position of €26.9M at End of June
ABIONYX Pharma reported on August 27, 2026 an update on its activity and cash position for the first half of 2026.
The group reported consolidated revenue of €1.9M and cash of €26.9M at the end of June, while its strategic activity, focused on therapies for sepsis and critical care, generated no revenue during the period.
€1.9M in Revenue, Entirely Derived from Iris Pharma Subsidiary
During the first half of 2026, ABIONYX Pharma recorded consolidated revenue of €1.9M, generated entirely by its Iris Pharma subsidiary through its contract research organization (CRO) activities in ophthalmology.
The financial statement shows Iris Pharma revenue of €1.9M in the first half of 2026, compared to €2.1M in the second quarter of 2025. The biotechnology activity, the group's core business, generated no revenue during the quarter.
The company notes that it continued to provide its bioproduct free of charge as part of compassionate use authorization requests (CUA), which explains the absence of revenue from this activity.
€26.9M in Cash Following June Financing
As of June 30, 2026, the group's cash and cash equivalents amounted to €26.9M, following the financing transaction announced on June 18 and before the collection of research tax credit and subsidies under the France 2030 plan.
This compares to €3.4M in cash at the end of the period in the second quarter of 2025. The group states that it has financial visibility through the end of 2028.
Iris Pharma Revenue Expected to Remain Stable in 2026
Based on information available at the date of the announcement, the company anticipates that Iris Pharma's revenue for the 2026 fiscal year will remain broadly stable compared to the 2025 fiscal year.
The first half 2026 accounts have not yet been finalized by the board of directors and are subject to limited review by the statutory auditors. The consolidation scope has not changed compared to the previous fiscal year.
