ADP stock rebounds by nearly 2%, among the strongest gains in a sluggish SBF 120
Aéroports de Paris rebounds sharply this Friday, in a virtually stable SBF 120, following several difficult sessions that had pushed the stock below its main moving averages. The gains allow the group to recover some of the ground lost over the month, although the technical configuration remains constrained.
A rebound of nearly 2% occurring in a sluggish Paris market
ADP gains 1.95% during the session at €109.60, while the CAC 40 loses 0.05% and the SBF 120 declines by 0.06% at the same time. This surge places the stock among the strongest gainers in the SBF 120, in a market where declines dominate widely — Ipsos loses more than 7%, Dassault Systèmes drops more than 6% and Vivendi SE loses nearly 6%. ADP's rebound occurs as the stock had declined by more than 2% last week, counter to a rising market, erasing the rebound initiated after Deutsche Bank's opinion upgrade in late August.
Over one month, the stock remains penalized by 7.82%, which puts the scope of today's movement into perspective. The VIX at 14.1 points to a low volatility environment, consistent with this type of micro-rebound on a stock under pressure.
ADP remains below its three moving averages despite today's recovery
Despite today's gains, ADP stock is still trading below its three reference moving averages: the MA20 at €111.16, the MA50 at €111.82 and the MA200 at €112.27 are all above the current price of €109.60, with respective gaps of 1.40%, 1.99% and 2.38%. The RSI at 39 remains close to the oversold zone without clearly breaking into it, reflecting selling exhaustion still present in recent sessions without a confirmed reversal signal. The MACD displays a negative histogram at -0.67, consistent with underlying bearish momentum.
The support level at €104.60 constitutes the next technical reference in the event of renewed selling pressure, while resistance at €123 corresponds to the next resistance level, with Deutsche Bank having set its price target at €130 during its opinion upgrade in late August. On the fundamental side, during the last earnings release (July 29, 2026), the group targeted EBITDA of €2,350 million for the following fiscal year. The analyst consensus remains a useful reference point for gauging the potential for revaluation compared to the current price.
