According to the press release, Amundi and Société Générale have reached an agreement in principle to extend their collaboration in the areas of investment solutions distribution and securities services. The new agreement, which lasts for five years, will take effect following the completion of contractual documentation and subject to the necessary regulatory approvals.

Since the initial agreements in 2010, Amundi has been the primary provider of savings and investment solutions for Société Générale's retail banking and insurance networks. Société Générale Securities Services is among the leading securities services providers for Amundi.
