Amundi stock hits record high at €97.70 before pulling back
Amundi reached an all-time intraday peak at €97.70 on Monday, surpassing its previous record from September 4th, before retreating significantly. The stock ranks among the sharpest declines of the SBF 120 in early afternoon trading, while the Paris index remains virtually flat.
An intraday record at €97.70 followed by a decline of nearly 3% over the session
Amundi posted a new all-time high this morning at €97.70, erasing the previous record of €97.55 established on Friday, September 4th. The stock failed to hold these levels: at mid-session, it was down 2.87% at €94.75, marking one of the most significant declines in the SBF 120 for the day. Over a week, the change remains virtually flat (-0.21%), illustrating the volatility of recent sessions around these peaks. The underlying momentum remains solidly upward-oriented: the three-month gain exceeds 11%, and over a year, the stock shows an advance of 51.6%.
At the 20-day moving average after a peak, with an RSI preserving the uptrend
Technically, the pullback brings the stock to the level of its 20-day moving average (€95.05), with a gap now below 0.5%. This threshold, which the price had not tested in several weeks, becomes the pivot zone of the moment: holding at this level would preserve the bullish structure built since summer. The 50-day moving average at €91.22 remains well below the current price (a gap of nearly 4%), as does the 200-day moving average at €80.17, testifying to the magnitude of the rally underway over the past twelve months.
The RSI at 56 indicates no extreme configuration: neither oversold nor overbought, the signal is neutral and does not anticipate a reversal. At the publication of 2025 annual results on February 3rd, 2026, the group was targeting €150 billion in net inflows over the 2025-2028 period, an objective whose progress will be closely monitored at each upcoming quarterly publication.
