Avincis Orders Up to 15 H145 Helicopters from Airbus Helicopters
Avincis, the largest European operator of emergency air services, signed a contract on Monday with Airbus Helicopters for the supply of up to 15 H145 helicopters. These aircraft will enhance the group's fleet in Nordic regions, Italy, and Spain, for emergency medical rescue and offshore transport missions.
An Agreement for 15 Aircraft for Emergency Missions
Avincis and Airbus Helicopters signed a contract on Monday for the acquisition of up to 15 H145 helicopters. These aircraft will be deployed across the group's extensive network, particularly covering the Nordic regions, Italy, and Spain. The H145 will be utilized for emergency medical rescue services as well as other mission segments, including offshore transport. Avincis currently has a fleet of over 220 aircraft and employs more than 2,400 professionals, with bases located in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Norway, Sweden, and Finland, as well as operations in Mozambique and Chile.

The H145 is powered by two Safran Arriel 2E engines and features a fully digital engine control system (FADEC) coupled with the Helionix digital avionics suite. The aircraft is equipped with a high-performance four-axis autopilot, enhancing safety and reducing pilot workload. The H145 stands out for its particularly low acoustic footprint, making it the quietest helicopter in its class, and for having one of the lowest CO2 emissions in the market. More than 1,800 helicopters from the H145 family are currently in service, accumulating over 8.5 million flight hours.
