Besi Advances Repayment of its 2029 Convertible Bonds
BE Semiconductor Industries N.V. announced on Tuesday that it has exercised its option for early repayment of its 175 million euros in senior unsecured convertible bonds due in 2029. The repayment will take place on June 4, 2026.
The total outstanding amount of 175 million euros will be repaid at 100% of the principal on June 4, 2026, which is 100,000 euros per bond. The company will also pay accrued unpaid interest up until the repayment date. Bondholders have a deadline to exercise their conversion rights until May 26, 2026. The conversion price is set at 115.50 euros per ordinary Besi share, compared to the closing price of 244.30 euros recorded at Euronext Amsterdam at the end of the previous session.
