Bogart Reports Revenue of €263.9 Million in 2025, Down 8.7%

Financial Performance Details

Bogart posted a revenue of €263.9 million for the fiscal year 2025, marking an 8.7% decline at current exchange rates. On a like-for-like and constant currency basis, the decrease stands at 7.5%. The group attributes this trend to a continually deteriorating global economic environment, which has affected consumption, especially in Europe. In the United States, uncertainties related to tariffs and exchange rate fluctuations led distributors and retailers to reduce their order volumes, a trend that intensified in the fourth quarter. Bogart Fragrances & Cosmetics achieved a revenue of €47.9 million, down 13.1% (or 12.0% on a like-for-like and constant currency basis). The group notes a challenging comparison base towards the year-end since the fourth quarter of 2024 experienced double-digit growth. Sales from the 'historic lines' of brands Ted Lapidus and Jacques Bogart suffered from increased competition and an unfavorable global economic climate. However, the luxury perfumery segment showed signs of resilience, with the successful launch of Aholic, Jacques Bogart's first luxury perfume brand, the performance of the 'Divine Alba' line at Stendhal, and the artisanal manufacturing brand Rose et Marius in France.

Bogart Beauty Retail's activity amounted to €216.0 million as of December 31, 2025, a 7.6% decline compared to the previous year. On a like-for-like and constant currency basis, the decrease was 6.4%. This decline follows the general trend of consumption in Europe, with a more pronounced contraction in France. The group highlights that the activity in the Israeli network remained stable during the period, thanks to a more premium and attractive product offering. Bogart continued its targeted optimization actions in the second half of the year to preserve the profitability of its network. Other income, derived from licenses and advertising recharges, amounted to €9.0 million, down 12.6%.

Outlook for Early 2026

In a still uncertain context, particularly in terms of geopolitics, Bogart adopts a cautious approach at the start of 2026 regarding the economic consumption trends and the evolution of the euro/dollar parity. The group will continue to focus on higher value-added sales and remain attentive to the profitability of its network. To align with new consumption trends, Bogart will continue to work on evolving its product typology to promote more premium and selective lines of perfumes and cosmetics, which have demonstrated their attractiveness and resilience. The group is preparing numerous launches across its brand portfolio in 2026 aimed at its owned and third-party networks. The annual results for 2025 will be published on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, after the market closes.
