Capital B Raises 3.5 Million Euros and Acquires an Additional 44 Bitcoins
Capital B has completed three financing operations totaling 3.5 million euros, enabling the group to strengthen its Bitcoin Treasury Company strategy. These funds were used to acquire an additional 44 bitcoins.
Successful Capital Increase and Fundraising
The group successfully completed a capital increase of 0.5 million euros at a price of 0.76 euros per share under an ATM agreement with TOBAM, bringing the total number of shares issued to 669,906. Concurrently, Capital B raised 2 million euros from TOBAM through a warrant issue. A third operation generated 1 million euros from a subscription warrant issue underwritten by UTXO Management. These three operations, finalized on Monday, directly financed the acquisition of 44 bitcoins for a total of 2.7 million euros. The average acquisition price of these 44 BTC was 61,763 euros per bitcoin.
Updated Bitcoin Holdings and Performance
Capital B now holds a total of 2,888 bitcoins, with an acquisition value of 267.1 million euros, corresponding to an average cost of 92,495 euros per bitcoin. Since the beginning of the year, the group has recorded a BTC Yield of 0.72%, a BTC Gain of 20.4 BTC, and a BTC € Gain of 1.2 million euros. During the same period, an additional 20.4 bitcoins were acquired as part of the yield from the strategy. The acquisition was executed by Swissquote Bank Europe SA, a registered virtual asset service provider with the Luxembourg regulator, with secure custody using Taurus technology.
Shareholding and Capital Structure
The group now has 229,727,727 ordinary shares in circulation. On a fully diluted basis, this number rises to 397,635,892 shares, incorporating convertibles and other instruments. TOBAM holds 6.22% of the ordinary capital and 5.46% on a diluted basis, while public and institutional shareholders represent 62.53% of the ordinary capital.
