Clariane stock breaks its one-year low and falls back to €3.15
The group of medicalized retirement homes and home care services extends its decline in mid-morning trading. The stock is trading below its three moving averages, at the low point of its recent trading sessions, while the Paris market is also declining.
A one-year low broken, with RSI at 29
Clariane falls 3.49% to €3.15 and drops below the €3.23 support level, which corresponds to the low of the last 250 trading sessions. This level, held until now, becomes a resistance point. The decline amplifies the stock's fall, which loses 20.2% over one month and 25.5% over one year.
The RSI at 29 is in oversold territory, and the price is below its 20-day moving average (7.5% gap), its 50-day moving average and its 200-day moving average, the latter being 19.1% above. The stock ranks among the biggest declines in the SBF 120, which is down 1.42% in the session. Emeis, a comparable value in the sector, is down 3.23% and showing a loss of 19.9% over one month, a performance close to that of Clariane.
A tense Paris session due to debt, ahead of the revenue figure on October 28
The CAC 40 falls 1.45% in a market penalized by tensions in French government debt. The 10-year OAT stood at 4.99% according to the Banque de France's survey dated October 21, at the highest level of the series since 2004, with a spread of 1.58 percentage points against the Bund. Clariane has already fallen more than 5.9% over the week.
On the company side, the court retained this week the offer from Clariane University to take over seven training institutes from Croix-Saint-Simon, comprising 800 students, an operation that expands the group's initial training offering. During the first half 2026 results published on July 29, the company was targeting an improvement in its EBITDA margin of 100 to 150 basis points by the end of 2026, while citing among its risks the inflationary pressure on costs. Third quarter 2026 revenue is expected on October 28.
