Dark Month for Imerys Share: 11.5% Erased, Decline Continues
The industrial minerals specialist is retreating in a declining Paris market. Today's pullback extends a difficult series and leaves the security below its main technical benchmarks. The publication of half-year results at the end of July provided numerical guidance, which the market has not yet translated into a rebound.
A pullback that widens the gap with the security's moving averages
The Imerys share is down 1.89% to €21.80, in an SBF 120 losing 0.94% and a CAC 40 declining 0.87%. It ranks in the lower part of the index, far from leading securities. The price is below the MA20 (€22.61, a gap of -3.58%) as well as the MA50 (€23.46) and MA200 (€23.09), so the security now has no moving average beneath it. The monthly break already noted at the beginning of October is continuing: the value is down 11.6% over one month, while it remains up 3.32% over three months. The €22.20 support has now been abandoned, and the RSI at 42 does not yet indicate oversold conditions.

The bond market remains tense: the 10-year OAT is at 4.83% according to the latest Banque de France survey from October 7, with a spread of 1.34 points against the Bund, as the National Assembly examines the 2027 budget. On the activity side, the construction sector outlook remains weak, with a construction climate at -17.2 in France and housing permits down 9.5% year-on-year. During the H1 2026 results published on July 30, the group had set an EBITDA target of €565 million for the rest of the fiscal year. This figure remains the fundamental benchmark for the matter, with the security now trading at nearly 7% below its MA50.
