DEME: Revenue Growth of 2% in H1, Net Income Up 20%
DEME Group published its first-half 2026 results on August 26, 2026. Revenue growth remains limited to 2%, but net income increases by 20%, a sign of improved net profitability over the period.
The Belgian dredging and offshore energy group confirms its objectives for the full year and continues the expansion of its fleet.
Over the first six months of 2026, DEME generated revenue of €2.2 billion, up 2% compared to €2.1 billion recorded over the same period a year earlier.
EBITDA stands at €466 million, corresponding to a margin of 21.6%. Net income reaches €215 million, compared to €179 million in the first half of 2025, representing a 20% increase.
The progression of net income thus substantially exceeds that of revenue over the period.

The group's order book stands at €7.1 billion, a level that the company presents as ensuring visibility on its future activities.
Fleet expansion continues according to the announced schedule. The two new jack-up type transport and installation vessels, the Norse Wind and the Norse Energi, were put into service during the first half of 2026.
DEME also ordered a new large-capacity trailing suction hopper dredger intended to strengthen its dredging fleet.
Revenue Expected to Rise Slightly in 2026
For fiscal year 2026, management anticipates revenue slightly higher than that of 2025, with an EBITDA margin maintained at the same level as in 2025.
These objectives extend the trajectory observed in the first half, marked by measured revenue growth and a more pronounced progression of net income to €215 million.
