DEME has been selected by Navayuga Engineering Company Limited to carry out deepening works at the deep-water port of Ramayapatnam in India. These port infrastructure works are part of the development of a new strategic port in Andhra Pradesh.
A Port Deepening Contract in India
DEME will perform dredging and deepening works for the entire port basin of Ramayapatnam, located in Andhra Pradesh, in the southeast of India. The contract includes deepening the turning basin as well as four docking posts. These works are intended to improve port accessibility and support the development of this new generation deep-water maritime infrastructure.
