DON'T NOD Launches Aphelion, a Space Game Developed with the European Space Agency
DON'T NOD announces the immediate release of Aphelion, a science fiction action-adventure game developed in collaboration with the European Space Agency. The title is available on PC (Steam), Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5, with a physical edition scheduled for July.
Multiplatform Availability and Access Services
Aphelion has been launched on PC (Steam), Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. The game is compatible with Xbox Play Anywhere and is included in the Game Pass from its release. A physical edition for PlayStation 5, named Pioneer Edition, is available for pre-order and will be released on July 2, 2026.
Collaboration with the European Space Agency
The game was developed in partnership with the European Space Agency. Aphelion features ESA astronauts Ariane and Thomas exploring the uncharted planet Persephone, where they must solve the mystery of a crash and confront a hostile and unknown life form. According to Oskar Guilbert, CEO of DON'T NOD, this collaboration exemplifies the video game's ability to 'transcend the boundaries of fiction to better reflect our reality.'
