Matthieu Lecharny has chosen not to seek renewal of his mandate as a board member in order to pursue a new professional direction and a personal project. The group acknowledges his significant contribution over his more than sixteen years. He will remain fully committed to his duties until the expiration of his term on September 5. To replace him, the supervisory board has appointed Yann Michel, currently the group's Chief Operations Officer. Yann Michel oversees the Pest Control operations, operations across three regions in France, as well as the group's activities in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Eastern Europe. His entry into the executive board will become effective on September 5, 2026, for a four-year period, until September 5, 2030.
Profile and Background of Yann Michel
Trained as an engineer, Yann Michel began his career at Montupet before joining Elis in 2004 as a production manager. He later managed an Elis operations center, then led several regions in France. The supervisory board believes that his professional history, deep knowledge of the group's industries, and international experience appropriately position him to support the implementation of Elis's strategy.
