Elis Retains 'A' Rating from CDP for Its Climate Commitment
The circular services specialist maintains its position for the second consecutive year on the shortlist of companies highly rated by the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) in combating climate change.
Continued Recognition by the CDP
Elis has once again been included in the CDP's 'A-List', according to the statement released this Sunday. This recognition is limited to only 4% of the most committed companies on climate issues among more than 25,000 companies evaluated globally by the organization in 2025. The CDP conducts an annual evaluation campaign at the request of numerous investors, analyzing companies' climate strategies, maturity, integration of climate into their internal processes, goals, performance, and their ability to engage their entire value chain. The rating scale ranges from 'A', the highest, to 'D-'.
Benefits of the Circular Economy Model
According to the company, this rating confirms the benefits of its circular economy model in addressing current environmental challenges. Elis has committed in 2023 to a climate strategy aligned with the Paris Agreements and validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). The group describes its business as based on a rental-maintenance model optimized by traceability technologies, deployed in 31 countries, serving the protection, hygiene, and well-being of its clients.
Leadership's Perspective on the Achievement
Xavier Martiré, Chairman of the Executive Board of Elis, stated that the group was 'honored' to be listed for the second year among the members of the CDP's 'A-List'. According to him, this distinction highlights the advantages of the company's circular economy model in facing environmental challenges, while recognizing the constant commitment and daily efforts of the group’s teams in combating climate change.
