Emeis share falls 3.5%, approaching support level at 9.89 €
The elderly care facilities group is declining sharply at midday, in a lower-trending Paris market. The stock is approaching a technical threshold monitored for several weeks and remains well below its medium-term reference levels.
A decline that brings the stock to 0.13 € from its 9.89 € support level
Emeis shares fell 3.65% to 10.03 € compared to the previous close at 10.41 €, in line with a CAC 40 down 1.34% and an SBF 120 declining 1.32%. The stock ranks fourth among the largest declines in the SBF 120, far behind the day's best performers such as Rubis or Euronext. The 9.89 € support was broken on October 8 before being recovered the following day, then tested again on October 13: the price is now less than 1.5% away from it, and the RSI at 35.88 reflects an exhaustion that persists over time. The stock is trading 6% below its 20-day moving average and over 26% below its 200-day moving average, highlighting the scale of the accumulated decline: 16% over one month and nearly 29% over three months.

When publishing the first half of 2026 on July 29, management indicated that the period's performance allowed for raising the fiscal year guidance. It also noted that the trend observed since the start of the year confirmed the momentum seen in 2025, with results exceeding the group's initial expectations. This upgrade contrasts with the stock's trajectory: over twelve months, the share has fallen nearly 31%.
The group, which operates specialized retirement homes, psychiatric clinics and senior residences, also completed its withdrawal from Latin America in early October, for approximately 111 million € in disposals. On the technical side, the next reference point remains this 9.89 € support, already tested three times this month.
