The partnership between Facephi and The OxiaCore Project, an iGaming software publisher based in Peru, has achieved an 80% reduction in commission payment fraud over twelve months, particularly by combating welcome bonus abuse. The solution leverages Facephi's artificial intelligence technology and multimodal biometrics to filter fraudulent transactions.
The implementation coincided with the introduction, at the end of 2024, of Peruvian Supreme Decrees No. 014-2024-IN and No. 016-2024-JUS, which mandate the unique identification of each user. Facephi's compliance by design has enabled The OxiaCore Project to meet these regulatory requirements while controlling fraud, covering player identity verification, agent monitoring, and prevention of injection attacks.

Mastering fraud at its source has unlocked the growth potential of the platform. The OxiaCore Project now has over 10,000 verified agents, operates more than five platforms using its software, and projects over one million authentication transactions by the end of 2026, having started cautiously.

Identity verification is completed in less than ten seconds at critical moments (initial registration and fund withdrawals), with cross-checking against government databases and exclusion lists.

The technology, certified by organizations like NIST and present in over 30 countries, adapts to various regulatory frameworks and to mobile, web, and hybrid environments. The OxiaCore Project plans its expansion into regulated markets in Latin America and Africa.
