Focus Entertainment to Publish Clutch, a Racing Game Developed by Former Forza Horizon Creators
Focus Entertainment Publishing, a subsidiary of Pull-Up Entertainment Group, announced on August 24, 2026 a publishing partnership with British studio Maverick Games. The agreement concerns CLUTCH, an open-world racing game developed by designers from the Forza Horizon series.
A Publishing Partnership for an Open-World Racing Game
Focus Entertainment Publishing has concluded a publishing partnership with Maverick Games, an independent developer founded by award-winning creators, for the game CLUTCH.
The company presents this agreement as its first entry into the open-world racing game market. Maverick Games is a development studio based in Royal Leamington Spa, United Kingdom, founded in 2022 by Mike Brown, former creative director of Forza Horizon 5 and lead designer on Forza Horizon 2, 3 and 4.
A Release Planned for Spring 2027 on Three Platforms
CLUTCH is expected for spring 2027 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
The title features an original scenario by Jamie Brittain, co-creator of the Skins series, and offers open-world driving as well as vehicle customization. The game follows young drivers competing in both official motorsports and illegal racing.
Pull-Up Entertainment and its Organization
Pull-Up Entertainment has nearly 600 employees in Europe and achieved revenue of 281 million euros in 2025/26.
The Group is organized around two publishing divisions, Focus Entertainment Publishing and Dotemu, four development studios (Dovetail Games, Deck13, Blackmill Games and Carpool Studio) and an audiovisual structure, Scripteam. The Group will hold its general assembly on September 23, 2026 and will publish its Q2 2026/27 revenue on October 22, 2026.
