Getlink: Tourism Traffic Rises by 8% in March, Truck Traffic Declines
Getlink SE releases its March 2026 traffic figures. The carrier reports a 1% decrease in truck traffic compared to the same period last year, while passenger vehicle transport increases by 8%.
LeShuttle Freight transported 104,449 trucks in March 2026, a decrease of 1% compared to March 2025 (105,413 trucks). Over the first three months of the year, truck traffic amounted to 294,703 units, down 2% compared to the same period in 2025 (302,144 trucks). Since January 1st, nearly 295,000 trucks have crossed the Channel aboard the Truck Shuttles, according to Getlink.

LeShuttle Passengers showed a different performance with 132,232 passenger vehicles transported in March 2026, an increase of 8% compared to March 2025 (122,419 vehicles). Over the quarter, this segment totaled 367,607 passenger vehicles, slightly down by 1% compared to 370,117 vehicles recorded from January to March 2025. This category includes cars, motorcycles, vehicles with trailers, caravans, motorhomes, and coaches.
