Hopium: CEO Rabatel Steps Down, Executive Appointments Announced
The Board of Directors of Hopium has confirmed the departure of Stéphane Rabatel from his role as CEO and Chairman, and has appointed Pascal Ghoson as the new Chairman of the Board and Thomas Picquette as CEO, during its meeting on February 26, 2026.
Leadership Transition at Hopium
Stéphane Rabatel has stepped down from his role as CEO and Chairman of Hopium at the conclusion of the Board of Directors' meeting on February 26, 2026. Pascal Ghoson, who has been a board member at Hopium since September 21, 2023, was appointed as the new Chairman of the Board. Thomas Picquette has been appointed as the new CEO. The Board expressed its gratitude to Stéphane Rabatel for his dedication and the initiatives undertaken during his tenure.
Board Restructuring
During the same meeting, Stéphane Rabatel and Rodolphe Cadio resigned from their positions as board members of Hopium. Gabriel Rafaty and Thomas Picquette were co-opted as new board members. These appointments will be put forward for ratification by the shareholders at the next General Meeting. Following these changes, the Hopium Board of Directors now consists of 5 members, including 4 independents. The Board thanked Rodolphe Cadio for his involvement and contributions to the board's activities.
