This Tuesday in Créteil, Icade inaugurates the Vallée Pétra program, transforming a former postal wasteland into a residential complex that houses nearly 600 students and 139 diverse residences. This project exemplifies the real estate group's strategy towards social diversity and the reduction of industrial wastelands.
Four Types of Housing Units Spread Across 23,000 m²
The Vallée Pétra program includes a student residence with 497 units (571 beds) managed by The Boost Society under the KLEY brand, which has been open since February 2026. The complex also features 38 freehold properties, 71 intermediate rental units sold to in'li (a subsidiary of Action Logement), and 30 social housing units sold to Toit et Joie - Poste Habitat. The KLEY residence, one of the largest of The Boost Society in Île-de-France, offers housing from T1 to T6 and includes over 700 m² of indoor communal spaces (lounge, dining, coworking, gym, cinema, laundry). Additionally, about 2,500 m² of outdoor spaces enhance the facility, including a green central courtyard with an athletics track and a beach volleyball court.

Located on a flood-prone site, the program was specifically designed with elevated living areas and the installation of vegetated swales to facilitate the absorption and drainage of rainwater. All apartments feature a balcony, loggia, or terrace. On this former industrial wasteland, Icade structured the project with a focus on biodiversity. Approximately 5,800 m² of open ground has been restored and 900 trees planted. The roofs, covering 5,000 m², are greened. A team of four people is responsible for community activities for the students from Monday to Friday.
