Klea Holding: first Smart Health center completed in Riyadh, opening expected within weeks
The Paris-listed group on Euronext Growth provided an update on the project conducted in Saudi Arabia by its joint venture Smart Health, now operating under the commercial name Smart Santé. Construction of Riyadh's first digitalized medical center is complete, with opening pending receipt of final administrative approvals.
Construction completed and financed from internal resources
Klea Holding confirmed on September 7, 2026 that construction and development work on the first center of its Smart Health subsidiary in Riyadh is complete. The group states that this project was financed entirely from the company's and its local partner's own resources, without recourse to the financial market or additional shareholder requests.
The company has also decided to adopt the commercial name Smart Santé in order, in its terms, to capitalize on French expertise in the health and wellness sector.
Final regulatory approvals underway
Following receipt of authorization from the competent municipality, Smart Health is engaged in the final regulatory stages prior to opening. The approval procedure with Civil Protection is underway: the application has been filed and a regulatory inspection is expected.
The group reiterated that processing times and obtaining administrative authorizations in Saudi Arabia may vary and remain beyond its control. It noted a regional context marked by geopolitical tensions that have caused delays in certain administrative and regulatory processes. Management expressed confidence regarding the opening of the first Smart Santé center within weeks and indicated it will continue to keep the market informed of any significant developments.
