Kumulus Vape Launches Its Production Unit Labster

Facility Overview

Labster, situated on a 700 square meter area near the Kumulus Vape headquarters in Lyon, is equipped with several automated lines supplied by CDA (Constructions D'Automatismes). These facilities handle the bottling and labeling of consumables, with a theoretical production capacity of several million bottles per year (sizes ranging from 10 to 100 ml). The site is already operational. Its direct location next to the group's logistics warehouses provides a competitive advantage: finished products can be integrated into the distribution flow without delay or additional transport, thus optimizing inventory management and responsiveness to the needs of partners and clients.

Strategic Vertical Integration

This approach of vertical integration aims to strengthen the group's autonomy over its proprietary brands such as Cigaverte, to ensure a high level of quality, and to offer increased responsiveness in the development of new references, while maintaining complementarity with the existing supplier ecosystem. Chloé Wolff has been appointed as the Director of Production and Site Manager of Labster. By 2027, Kumulus Vape plans to pursue ISO 9001 certification (quality management) as well as the Origine France Garantie label for many products manufactured by Labster. A gradual ramp-up is also planned for the year 2026, with the launch of new 'signature' products branded by Labster. This setup also eliminates back-and-forth trips with outsourced production sites, thereby reducing CO2 emissions related to transport, aligning with the group's commitment to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions by at least 15% by 2030 (based on 2020 levels).
