Nanobiotix Stock Climbs 3% Defying a CAC 40 Weighed Down by Iran
The French biotech extends its recovery as the market close approaches, going against the grain of a Parisian market heavily penalized by the new military escalation in the Middle East. The stock joins the leaders of the SBF 120 and continues to widen the gap with its long-term moving averages. The stock's annual performance remains extraordinarily high.
A Rebound Confirming Recovery from Post-Record Digestion in May
Nanobiotix stock gains 3.14% to €34.14, while the CAC 40 drops 1.99% and the SBF 120 falls by 1.94%, weighed down by US strikes against Iran and the claimed Iranian retaliation in Kuwait and Bahrain. The stock is among the top gainers of the SBF 120, alongside oil stocks boosted by the Brent oil surge. The biotech has no direct exposure to this geopolitical context and is moving on its own momentum.
The movement of the day continues the rebound from last Friday, which had already driven the stock towards its historical highs. After a digestion phase following the mid-May record, the stock is gradually returning to an upward path, with a gain of 6.36% over the week and 10.27% over the month. Over a year, the performance reaches 720%, a progression that remains largely unique on the Paris stock exchange.
Stock Recovers Its Moving Averages and Moves Away from the €28.28 Support
The stock moves above its 50-day moving average (€33.41), after several sessions hovering around this level. The gap with the MM20 (€31.36) is nearly 9%, while the MM200 at €24.14 remains far behind, more than 41% below the current price, indicating a strong underlying bullish trend. The RSI at 55 remains neutral, with no immediate overbought configuration despite the rally.
The next resistance is at €35.18, about 3% from the current price, a threshold that would bring the stock closer to its historical highs if crossed. On the fundamentals side, the company had presented during the Q1 2026 release (June 2, 2026) the progress of clinical studies on JNJ-1900 (NBTXR3) and the strengthening of the Nanoprimer platform among its main opportunities. Today's movement reinforces the gap to the short-term moving averages and distances the stock from its support at €28.28.
