Nearly 16% Lost in One Month: Clariane Share Rebounds 2.5%
The medicalised retirement home and home care services group rebounds sharply at midday, in a well-oriented Paris market. The movement follows a lengthy period of decline that has weighed on prices since the start of the academic year.
A rebound that fills only a small part of the monthly decline
The Clariane share gains 2.55% to €3.37 during the session, while the CAC 40 advances 0.58% and the SBF 120 by 0.61%. This increase barely mitigates the decline of 15.78% recorded over one month and 16.07% over three months. The stock remains below its three moving averages: the gap is 7.05% with the MA20, 12.36% with the MA50 and 13.93% with the MA200.
The RSI at 30 signals a configuration close to oversold, and the price stands near the support level of €3.23. Emeis, another player in the retirement home sector, advances 0.59% this Wednesday after falling 18.46% in one month. The two securities display a comparable monthly trajectory.
Consolidated bank debt and vaccination campaign at the forefront of news
On the company side, Clariane launched on 13 October its annual flu vaccination campaign in Korian retirement homes and Inicea clinics, according to a press release dated 12 October. From a financial perspective, the group established on 22 September a €700 million renewable credit line maturing in 2031, shortly after a senior bond placement of €500 million finalised on 8 September. Upon publication of H1 2026 results on 29 July, management targeted an improvement in EBITDA margin of 100 to 150 basis points by end 2026.
In a market where the 10-year OAT stands at 4.86% according to the latest Banque de France survey dated 12 October, financing costs remain a monitored parameter for indebted groups. The €3.23 support level is the one to watch: it sits less than 5% below the current price.
