Neolife Earns EcoVadis Silver Medal with 90/100 in Environmental Performance
Neolife, a European leader in sustainable bio-composites for construction, has received the EcoVadis silver medal with a score of 73/100. The company announced through a press release the structuring of its CSR action plan around concrete goals for 2030 and three strategic development axes.
Award Based on Comprehensive Performance
The silver medal was awarded to Neolife based on its measurable performance across four pillars: Environment, Social and Human Rights, Ethics, and Responsible Purchasing. The company scored 90/100 in the Environmental pillar, its area of strength. This distinction places Neolife in the top 15% of the most responsible companies globally and reflects the integration of environmental, social, and governance issues at the heart of its strategy, driven by the Management with the support of a dedicated committee. According to the company, this recognition serves as a commercial differentiation lever in the face of increasing demands from both public and private clients.
Ambitious Action Plan Set for 2030
Neolife has defined an action plan based on ambitious goals for 2030: achieving PEFC certification by the end of 2026 for the company and its main suppliers; reducing its Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions by 20%; reducing its energy consumption per square meter of product manufactured by 20%; and reusing or recycling 100% of its production waste. The company also plans to implement extra-financial reporting tailored to its structure following a preliminary audit. This trajectory aligns with the transformation of the building sector towards decarbonization, particularly driven by the RE2020 regulations and its future evolutions (RE2025/2028/2031). Neolife is also structuring its development around three axes: designing new decarbonized bio-composite materials, developing new patented and certified applications, and expanding its commercial territory in France and Europe.
