Nyxoah Secures $15M from EIB to Accelerate Genio's Launch in the US
Nyxoah announced on Wednesday the release of the second tranche of its financing from the European Investment Bank (EIB), amounting to $15 million. This non-dilutive funding comes just days after closing a $95 million equity fundraising, bringing the total capital raised in June to approximately $110 million.
Non-dilutive Financing to Speed Up Commercial Launch
The EIB funds will be primarily dedicated to accelerating the commercial launch of the Genio system in the United States, while supporting investments in research and development as well as the development of production capacity. Olivier Taelman, CEO, praises the 'continuous support' from the European Investment Bank as 'a strong testament to the confidence in our technology and the long-term potential of our mission'.
