A Prestigious House with Exceptional Molds
Lapparra Orfèvre Argentier, established in 1893, is among the last independent ultra-luxury houses in the French high silversmith sector. The house has served the greatest jewelers of Place Vendôme and numerous royal families. It holds a significant material heritage: about 770 molds, 2,100 matrices, over 2,000 mandrels, as well as hundreds of historical archives, making it a unique collection globally. Over the past five fiscal years, Lapparra has achieved an average annual turnover of approximately 390k€ with an average annual net income of about 45k€, resulting in an average net margin of around 11%.
Financial Terms and Transaction Timeline
The sale price amounts to 200k€ in cash, supplemented by the allocation of 12,500 Odiot SA shares valued at 40€ per share. This acquisition is part of Odiot SA's development strategy and will allow the group to take over several contracts, particularly in the world of sports and competition. The completion is anticipated by no later than October 31, 2026, subject to the lifting of usual suspensive conditions for this type of transaction. According to Gilles-Emmanuel Trutat, CEO of Odiot SA, the production will move to the Brétigny-sur-Orge site, which will also house Lapparra's molds and archives.
