Paref: Antoine Castro Resigns, Takuya Yamada Appointed Interim CEO
Today, the Board of Directors of PAREF acknowledged the decision of Antoine Castro to resign from his position as Chairman and CEO and appointed Takuya Yamada, a board member since 2024, as interim Chairman and CEO. A recruitment process for a new CEO has already been initiated.
Antoine Castro has decided to step down from his role as Chairman and CEO of Paref, as well as from all his other mandates within the group. The Board of Directors acknowledged this decision on Tuesday and thanked Castro for his dedication and contributions to the development of Paref.

Takuya Yamada, 64, who has been a board member of Paref since 2024, has been appointed as interim Chairman and CEO effective immediately. With over 30 years of experience in real estate investment and asset management, his appointment is justified by his deep understanding of the group's challenges. Yamada has held several key positions throughout his career: after working at the Sydney and New York branches of Sumitomo Trust and Banking Co, he joined the real estate division of AIG, then was appointed as Managing Director of Invesco Global Real Estate responsible for acquisitions and asset management in the Japanese and Asia-Pacific markets. Since 2015, he has been serving as the Global Director of Operations at Fosun Hive Overseas.
