Philips Launches Its Digital Pathology Cloud Platform with AWS
Royal Philips announces the expansion of its digital pathology portfolio with the launch of Philips IntelliSite Pathology Solution on HealthSuite, a fully cloud-based platform powered by Amazon Web Services. This solution aims to support healthcare organizations in adopting and scaling complete digital workflows.
Empowering Pathology Labs with Cloud Technology
Philips IntelliSite Pathology Solution on HealthSuite is designed to enable pathology labs to adopt digital workflows without the complexity of on-site infrastructure. The platform provides secure storage, management, and analysis of large volumes of high-resolution pathology images, while allowing pathologists to access, review, and collaborate on cases remotely. The solution merges Philips' leadership in digital pathology with AWS's healthcare cloud infrastructure. In January 2026, Frost & Sullivan awarded Philips the Global Enabling Technology Leadership Award 2025 in digital pathology, while AWS was named Best in KLAS 2026 for public cloud infrastructure.
Enhancing Integrated Diagnostics with Cloud Solutions
Philips IntelliSite Pathology on HealthSuite is an addition to the Philips HealthSuite Integrated Diagnostics portfolio, a suite of cloud-based diagnostic solutions designed to connect data, integrate workflows, and embed AI within the diagnostic enterprise. The portfolio brings together Philips' latest cloud innovations, engineered to operate independently or connect across diagnostic domains. Philips will showcase its expanded digital pathology portfolio at HIMSS 2026 (Las Vegas, March 9-12) and USCAP 2026 (San Antonio, March 21-26).
