Prismaflex International Reports a 7% Decline in Nine-Month Business Activity
The billboard manufacturer and digital printer Prismaflex International has seen its revenue drop to 37.5 million euros over the first nine months of the 2025-2026 fiscal year, a decrease of 7%. This downturn reflects a challenging economic environment, particularly affecting the Hardware division.
Third Quarter Performance
In the third quarter of 2025-2026, the group recorded a revenue of 12.28 million euros, down 14.9% compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year (13.6% at constant exchange rates). This decline is mainly due to the absence of major deliveries in the Hardware division during this period. The group notes that the Print activity continued the trend from the first six months of the fiscal year, while Hardware, being more volatile, experienced a significant decline. The impact of currency fluctuations, mainly related to the Canadian dollar, South African rand, and British pound, represented an additional depreciation of 0.46 million euros compared to the figures at constant exchange rates.
Print Activity and Revenue Sources
The Print activity, the group's primary source of revenue, generated 26.46 million euros over nine months, down 4.0%. According to the press release, this decrease is attributable to a 0.4 million euro drop in the Interior Decoration segment, which continues to face a lack of market opportunities. Excluding exchange rate effects, the decline would have been limited to 2.6%. The Communication segment shows better resilience with a turnover of 26.1 million euros (a slight decrease of 1.03% at constant exchange rates), driven by positive dynamics in Spain and South Africa, offsetting a slowdown in France and England. The Hardware division fell more sharply with 10.98 million euros, down 13.3%. LED sales increased slightly to 4.6 million euros, but this growth only partially offset the decline in static lightboxes, which showed a decrease of 23.2% to 6.4 million euros after the record levels of the previous year.
Order Book Status
The order book stands at 10.8 million euros as of December 31, 2025, an increase of 0.5 million euros compared to September 30, 2025. According to the group, this strengthening reflects solid order intake, notably with a significant order in Canada worth more than 1.5 million euros. The Hardware division has an order book of 5.2 million euros, with a large portion expected to be delivered before the end of the 2025-2026 fiscal year. The Print segment records an increase to 5.6 million euros, mainly fueled by Canadian orders. Prismaflex anticipates a better trend in the fourth quarter than that of the third quarter, which should mitigate the downturn in business activity. The group also reports initial encouraging signs of recovery at the Koziel site, specializing in Decoration.
