Publicis Groupe Reports 5.6% Organic Growth in 2025 and Increases Its Dividend

Publicis Groupe has revealed strong annual results for 2025, with a net revenue organic growth of 5.6% and an improved operating margin of 18.2%. The group anticipates a seventh consecutive year of outperformance in 2026 with expected organic growth between 4% and 5%.

Strong Performance Across All Regions

Publicis Groupe recorded a net organic growth of 5.6% for the year 2025, driven by a particularly strong performance in the fourth quarter with an organic growth of 5.9%. Net revenue reached 14,547 million euros in 2025, up from 13,965 million euros in 2024, an increase of 4.2%. Total revenue, including reimbursable costs, reached 17,399 million euros, up 8.5%. This growth was supported by solid performance across all regions: United States at 5.2%, Europe at 4.2%, and Asia Pacific at 5.8%. Connected Media activities, representing 60% of the annual net revenue, saw strong high-single-digit organic growth in the fourth quarter. Intelligent Creativity, accounting for 26% of the annual net revenue, recorded mid-single-digit organic growth in Q4. Technology activities, representing 14% of the annual net revenue, remained nearly stable over the year, as anticipated, due to client caution in IT consulting. The operating margin stood at 2,648 million euros, up 5.1% from 2024, reaching a record level of 18.2% of net revenue, an improvement of 20 basis points from 18.0% in 2024. EBITDA increased by 5.1% to 3,168 million euros, with a margin rate of 21.8% of net revenue compared to 21.6% in 2024. Personnel expenses and freelance costs amounted to 9,590 million euros, up 4.0%, representing 65.9% of net revenue compared to 66.1% in 2024.

The free cash flow before changes in working capital reached 2,032 million euros in 2025, an increase of 10.6% compared to 2024, thanks particularly to the growth of the operating margin before depreciation which increased by 154 million euros. The diluted current net earnings per share stood at 7.48 euros in 2025, up 6.6% at constant exchange rates compared to 7.30 euros in 2024. The diluted net earnings per share amounted to 6.52 euros compared to 6.55 euros in 2024. The net cash position stood at 548 million euros as of December 31, 2025, compared to 775 million euros as of December 31, 2024, reflecting the impact of the depreciation of the US dollar against the euro on the cash position. The group's average net debt over the past twelve months amounted to 971 million euros as of December 31, 2025, compared to 585 million euros on December 31, 2024. The effective tax rate for the year 2025 stood at 25.1%, compared to 24.9% in 2024. The group proposes a dividend of 3.75 euros per share for 2025, up 4.2% compared to 3.60 euros in 2024, fully paid in cash and subject to the approval of the general meeting of shareholders on May 27, 2026.

Outlook for 2026 and Strategic Acquisitions

For the year 2026, Publicis Groupe aims for organic growth between 4% and 5%, with the ambition to outperform the sector for a seventh consecutive year. The group expects its financial indicators, the highest in the sector, to reach new records, including an operating margin rate slightly above 18.2% while maintaining a high level of investment, and a free cash flow of around 2.1 billion euros before changes in working capital, based on an exchange rate of 1.20 dollars per euro. During 2025, Publicis Groupe completed several strategic acquisitions: Atomic 212° in Australia in January, BR Media Group in Latin America in February, Lotame and Moov AI in March, Adopt in April, Captiv8 in May, p-value Group in July, and HEPMIL Media Group in Southeast Asia in October. These operations aim to strengthen the group's capabilities in influencer marketing, data, artificial intelligence solutions, and production activities.
