Publicis Groupe Secures 7th Consecutive New Business Win and Dominates Media Buying
Publicis Groupe has announced its seventh consecutive new business win according to the COMvergence New Business Barometer. The group confirms and strengthens its leadership position in media buying in two key markets for international clients.
Leading the Pack in New Business Performance
Publicis ranked number one in 2025 for its overall new business performance, achieving gains six times higher than its closest competitor. The group also topped the charts in net new business both globally and regionally, according to the report released Monday. This achievement comes in an industry marked by restructuring and cost-cutting.
Expanding Market Share in the US and China
In the United States, the group increased its share of budgets from 36% to 42%, affirming its leadership despite last year's merger of the third and fourth largest market players. In China, new business gains have enabled Publicis to confirm and increase its lead, capturing nearly 20% of media investments. Arthur Sadoun, Chairman and CEO, emphasized that this lead allows Publicis to maintain and strengthen its leadership position in media buying in these markets, where size remains a critical factor.
