Renault Unveils the Renault 4 JP4×4 Concept, an Electric 4×4 at Roland-Garros
On Tuesday at Roland-Garros, Renault unveiled a new variant of its Renault 4: the Renault 4 JP4x4 Concept. This concept car is positioned as a leisure and beach vehicle, equipped with all-electric all-wheel drive.
A Reinterpretation of the Original Model
The Renault 4 JP4x4 Concept follows in the footsteps of the Savane 4x4 Concept introduced the previous year. The concept embraces a leisure explorer spirit, combining freedom and a summer vibe. Visually, the vehicle stands out with its contrasting colors: Emerald Green body and orange interior. The overall look is described as pop and saturated. The design maximizes the outdoor spirit with doors and a roof that are perforated, without a soft top.
Comprehensive Electric Architecture and Terrain Versatility
The concept incorporates a second electric motor located on the rear axle. This setup allows the vehicle to operate in four-wheel drive when needed, providing the ability to navigate sandy terrains or beaches.
