Sopra Steria and Dynatrace Create Joint Center Dedicated to Observability and AI

A Non-Exclusive Partnership Centered on Observability and AIOps

Sopra Steria Group and Dynatrace announced, in a press release dated September 10, 2026, the creation of a center dedicated to observability and artificial intelligence applied to IT operations (AIOps). The initiative aims to help large European organizations optimize their information systems.

Sopra Steria intervenes in the capacity of consulting, integration, and managed services, while Dynatrace provides its AI-driven observability platform. The partnership is described as strategic and non-exclusive.

Launch in France and Norway, Followed by European Rollout

The initiative launches in France and Norway, in sectors where application availability and operational resilience are most critical: banking, insurance, telecommunications, retail, and the public sector. According to the press release, training and certification programs will subsequently be rolled out across Europe over the coming months.

The partnership includes shared governance between the two companies, with a steering committee and quarterly reviews, as well as a dedicated certified team and a four-stage methodology, from consulting through to run and optimization.

Regulatory Context Cited as Driver of the Initiative

The press release places the announcement within a reinforced regulatory framework. DORA requires financial entities to detect, qualify, and notify their IT incidents within tight timeframes, while NIS2 sets comparable requirements for critical players in energy, transport, health, and administration.

Olivier Tarrit, CEO of Digital Platform Services at Sopra Steria, emphasizes that customer challenges "have become too complex for a single company to address alone". Luís Miguel Porém, VP EMEA Partners at Dynatrace, indicates that success "depends on the collective ability to deliver results".
