Sopra Steria Completes Acquisition of Digital Product Simulation via Cimpa
The French digital services group has completed the acquisition of Digital Product Simulation, a company specializing in digital simulation and product lifecycle management solutions. This operation, carried out through its subsidiary CIMPA, aims to strengthen its PLM capabilities for clients in strategic sectors.
Strategic Reinforcement in Simulation and Dassault Systèmes Expertise
Sopra Steria has just completed the acquisition of Digital Product Simulation, integrated through its subsidiary CIMPA. This operation is part of an end-to-end offering strategy aimed at expanding the group's expertise in product lifecycle management, particularly in digital simulation and the 3DEXPERIENCE solution from software publisher Dassault Systèmes. The acquired company has more than 115 engineers and generated approximately €12 million in IFRS revenue in 2025.
The group views this as a lever to support its industrial clients in critical sectors, notably aeronautics, defense and nuclear energy. These markets, described by Sopra Steria as offering strong growth potential, are particularly important in the field of sovereign strategic industries.
Accounting Consolidation from August 2026
Digital Product Simulation will be consolidated in the group's accounts as of August 1, 2026. This integration begins just days after the publication on July 29 of Sopra Steria's first-half 2026 results, during which the group raised its annual growth target following an acceleration in underlying organic growth in the second quarter.
