STIF Secures Significant Contracts in Asia for its BESS Solutions
STIF announces the acquisition of significant new business volumes in Asia from several major players in the battery energy storage (BESS) sector. The explosion protection specialist confirms strong commercial momentum in this region following an upswing in 2025.
Major Orders from Leading BESS Sector Players
STIF has secured orders from three key players in the BESS sector. Tesla, a longstanding client of the group, has confirmed the renewal of a global business volume, with a significant acceleration in the Asia region linked to the deployment of its megafactory in Shanghai dedicated to BESS construction. Chinese leader Sungrow has signed off on the start of very significant recurring orders for its new BESS production unit in Thailand. STIF has also won its first contract with Trinasolar, one of the global leaders in the BESS field. All these orders will be processed by the group's factory located in Suzhou, China.
ATEX Certification for the New Vigifold Slide
STIF announces the ATEX certification for the Vigifold Slide, a new anti-explosion panel designed for the BESS industry. The product is distinguished by its installation on the lateral walls rather than the roof, and acts as a deflector directing the effects of the explosion upwards to reduce the risk of collateral damage. This product, part of the Vigilex Energy range, marks the group's technological advancement in the BESS safety market.
