Valerio Therapeutics: Etherna Immunotherapies acquisition targets signature by August 21

Valerio Therapeutics communicated on August 17, 2026 on the progress of the project to acquire 100% of the share capital of Etherna Immunotherapies NV.
On July 1, 2026, the company had announced that it had submitted a firm offer for this transaction, based on a total enterprise value of 30 million euros.
In connection with this firm offer, Valerio and Etherna had initially agreed on a six-week exclusivity period in order to finalize the definitive documentation.
Since then, the parties have indicated that they have made progress towards the intended acquisition, including obtaining the required authorization regarding foreign direct investments.
Valerio has accepted to continue discussions with Etherna in order to finalize the definitive contracts, with a view to signing by August 21, 2026.
