An Audio Set-Top Box Combining Sound, Connectivity and Voice Command
Vantiva (Euronext Paris: VANTI) announced on September 11, 2026 the launch of Soundscape Mini, a compact audio set-top box based on its Emerald v2 platform. The device combines a 3.1 audio system, expandable wireless surround speakers and virtual Dolby Atmos technology.
It integrates voice command, embedded Edge AI processing and Wi-Fi 7 compatibility. According to the group, the device uses far-field microphones to enable voice interaction, content search, navigation through services and connected device management.
Wi-Fi 7 connectivity is presented as support for high-bandwidth entertainment services and low-latency streaming.
A Customizable Platform Designed for Operators
Vantiva positions Soundscape Mini as a solution designed for operators, with user experiences under their brand, service integration and custom design options. David Robinson, director of product management, indicates that the device addresses demand for sound quality and responsiveness without multiplying equipment in the living room.
Ashwani Saigal, product and engineering director of the group, clarifies that the objective is to provide operator partners with a fully customizable device for the home. The product is being presented at the IBC 2026 trade show in Amsterdam, from September 11 to 14, 2026.
