Vusion expands partnership with JB Hi-Fi across entire Australian network
Following a pilot phase and full rollout in New Zealand, Vusion and Australian electronics retailer JB Hi-Fi have announced a new plan to equip their entire store network.
The agreement extends an already established collaboration in the New Zealand market, now expanded to the Australian store portfolio.
An agreement that expands deployment to the Australian network
Vusion, a Nanterre-based specialist in physical retail digitalization solutions, and JB Hi-Fi, an Australian electronics distributor, announced on September 29, 2026 a new deployment plan aimed at accelerating the digital transformation of stores.
The agreement follows the success of a pilot phase, followed by a rollout across all JB Hi-Fi locations in New Zealand. It provides for the implementation of Vusion's digital technologies across the network.
A connected platform integrated into stores
Vusion's platform should enable the retailer to combine its merchandising culture with enriched price and product information, faster in-store execution, simplified access to product data for teams, and greater operational efficiency.
It facilitates access to product information directly on shelves, notably through contactless interactions from team mobile terminals, on elements such as available models and colors, financing solutions, or complementary product content.
Integration with existing Cisco Meraki infrastructure
Through Vusion's native integration with Cisco Meraki, JB Hi-Fi will connect the platform to the wireless infrastructure already deployed in its stores. According to both companies, this configuration will reduce the need for additional equipment, simplify deployment, and help limit operational costs and the environmental footprint of the project.
The JB Hi-Fi group employs more than 17,000 employees in Australia and New Zealand, operating across a network of 355 stores. For its part, Vusion states that it counts more than 350 major retail groups worldwide among its clients.
