Vusion Shares Bounce Back 2% and Cross Above a Key Technical Threshold
The Nanterre-based specialist in connected electronic labels is regaining ground in the mid-afternoon, in a stagnant Parisian market. The stock erases part of its monthly decline and crosses back above a short-term technical threshold, as selling pressure continues to recede over thirty days.
A 1.94% Rebound That Brings the Stock Above Its Short-Term Moving Averages
Vusion gains 1.94% to €136.50, up from a close of €133.90 the previous day. Today's rebound brings the weekly performance to 4.04%, while the monthly decline moderates to -5.41%. Over three months, the stock is still up +24.54%, but remains down 46.05% over the year. The price moves back above the MM20 (€134.29, gap +1.65%) and stays above the MM50 at €128.53 (+6.20%).
The MM200 at €169.32, however, remains significantly above the current price, with a gap of -19.38% indicating the still intact medium-term downward trend. The RSI at 37 remains in the low zone, leaving room before reaching a neutral regime. The next resistance threshold identified is at €147.
Short Positions Continue to Recede, at 4.98% of Capital
Seven funds cumulatively hold 4.98% of the capital sold short according to reviewed declarations, a level that remains high but has decreased by 1.69 points over thirty days (from 6.67% a month ago). This decline reflects a gradual easing of the bearish bet since the recent peak, without erasing the structural stress that has weighed on the case for several months. A cumulative short position of nearly 5% of the capital indicates that institutional investors remain positioned against the value or continue to cover exposures, a point to follow without overinterpreting in the short term.
Moreover, the commercial dynamics of the group are still fueled by recently announced deployments, including the expansion of the partnership with the Jysk chain and the contract with the Turkish chain Gratis covering 300 stores revealed in June. On the index front, the CAC 40 is barely positive at 8,328.43 points, a context of stagnation that makes the movement of the stock all the more notable.
