Wendel Appoints Harper Mates as Head of its North American Subsidiary
Wendel announces the appointment of Harper Mates as CEO of Wendel North America. She succeeds Adam Reinmann, who is retiring after 13 years of service.
Leadership Transition at Wendel North America
Harper Mates has been appointed CEO of Wendel North America, succeeding Adam Reinmann who is stepping down after 13 years during which he established Wendel's American platform. Adam Reinmann will serve as Senior Advisor to Wendel's Executive Board during a transition period. Harper Mates is a member of Wendel's Investment Committee and a representative of the employees on Wendel's Supervisory Board. She joined Wendel's New York office in 2015 after positions at MidOcean Partners, Citigroup Private Equity, and JPMorgan Chase. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Harper Mates also serves as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors for the Crisis Prevention Institute and ACAMS, two companies within Wendel's portfolio.
