Wereldhave: Marcel Eggenkamp Steps Down as Chief Financial Officer
Wereldhave announced on Monday the departure of Marcel Eggenkamp from his position as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). After an initial period with the group, the company and Eggenkamp agreed that the role and mutual expectations were not sufficiently aligned for the future.
Mutually Agreed End of Tenure
Marcel Eggenkamp is stepping down from his role as CFO, having joined Wereldhave at the beginning of the year. Wereldhave and Marcel Eggenkamp concluded that continuing this collaboration was not appropriate in the long term. Both parties decided to end the appointment through a mutual agreement.
The supervisory board and CEO Matthijs Storm thank Marcel Eggenkamp for his involvement during this period. He will continue his current tasks and ensure the transfer of his responsibilities in the coming weeks.
Continuity Ensured by Remco Langewouters
Pending the appointment of a successor, the CFO responsibilities will be handled by Remco Langewouters, who has been the group controller since 2018. Wereldhave has initiated the selection process for a new CFO and will provide updates in due course.
