Witbe Launches Agentic SDK, a Video Test Automation Platform
Witbe announces the launch of Agentic SDK, a new test automation framework for video service providers. This platform combines agentive artificial intelligence with algorithmic testing on real devices.
Hybrid Automation Model
Agentic SDK introduces a hybrid automation model that allows quality teams to blend agentive AI with deterministic algorithmic testing. Rather than completely replacing existing automation with autonomous AI, the platform maintains the reliability, transparency, and reproducibility required in a production environment. The framework offers three levels of usage: 100% agentive automation for rapid exploratory testing based on natural language commands; hybrid execution with predefined scenarios combining algorithmic logic and AI assistance; and full customization through a native Python-based SDK for advanced use cases.
Native Integration with Real Device Testing Infrastructure
Agentic SDK is natively integrated into Witbe's real device testing infrastructure, operating on the same connected TVs, set-top boxes, mobile devices, and browsers used by actual users of video services. The platform is available now as a component of the Witbe automation and monitoring suite, delivered with version 41 of the Witbe Suite and fully compatible with all existing Witbox deployments. According to the release, clients can start using it immediately without any additional hardware or infrastructure, provided they provision AI tokens. Agentic SDK has already been showcased to a select group of clients and partners who are actively deploying it.
