Wolters Kluwer Acquires StandardFusion for €32M
On January 9, 2026, Wolters Kluwer announced the acquisition of StandardFusion, a Canadian provider of cloud-based governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) solutions, for approximately 32 million euros in cash, according to the official press release from the Dutch publisher.
Integration into TeamMate Platform
Based in Vancouver, StandardFusion will be integrated into the TeamMate audit and assurance platform within the Corporate Performance & ESG (CP & ESG) division. The stated goal is to offer a unified solution covering internal audit, risk management, control, and compliance, in a context of increasing regulatory demands and rising cyber risks. The StandardFusion platform notably brings more than 150 compliance frameworks and advanced workflows. Its integration is expected to enable multi-referential control mapping, automated evidence collection, and ongoing compliance management. According to the press release, StandardFusion generated unaudited revenues of about 4 million euros in 2024, with 94% recurring. Wolters Kluwer anticipates a return on invested capital (ROIC) of over 8% within three to five years. Approximately 40 employees will join the group following the transaction, which is expected to have an 'immaterial' impact on the adjusted results in the short term.
