Wood Constructors Records a Revenue of €20.4 Million in 2025
The eco-friendly wood construction company announces a consolidated revenue of €20.4 million for the fiscal year 2025, a decrease of 13.5% compared to the previous year. This decline primarily reflects the calendar adjustment of several projects, while the group activates new growth levers.
Financial Performance in 2025
Wood Constructors recorded a consolidated revenue of €20.4 million in 2025, down from €23.6 million in 2024, marking a 13.5% decrease. The group attributes this contraction to the calendar adjustment of several real estate projects, which mechanically deferred part of the expected contribution to the following fiscal year. Despite this challenging real estate environment, the group maintained a strong execution pace in 2025. Deliveries included a single-family home in Épinal, the first phase of the Eco City in Villerupt-Cantebonne, the Eco City in Faulx with a micro-nursery integrated into the first building handed over to CDC Habitat, and a social residence in Thaon-les-Vosges entrusted to Vosgelis. Concurrently, the group continued the pre-commercialization of its projects with institutional landlords. The Eco City of Houdemont exemplifies this commercial success with the sale of two buildings to the landlord 3F Grand Est for a total of €6.6 million at its launch. The gradual development of private ownership also allowed for diversification of the activity portfolio towards operations with higher unit margins.
Strategic Diversification in the Second Half of 2025
In the second half of 2025, Wood Constructors took a significant step in diversifying its business model. The group won a competition in Illkirch-Graffenstaden, resulting in a real estate promotion contract (CPI) with Foncière Logement worth €4 million including taxes. This operation allows the group to access new markets while limiting its financial exposure. The group also signed a preliminary sales agreement with AGORA in Luxembourg for the development of the Belval Sud district, representing a volume of about €50 million. For the fiscal year 2026, the group has a revenue base estimated at €12.5 million, corresponding to the scheduled deliveries of ongoing operations. The group enters 2026 intending to capitalize on the levers activated in 2025, the continuation of ongoing program execution, the start of construction on the Eco City of Houdemont, the advancement of the Belval Sud project in Luxembourg, and the deployment of the Illkirch-Graffenstaden contract.
Launch of the Cambium Project in 2026
The year 2026 will be marked by the launch of the Cambium project, a campus dedicated to training and innovation in security and cyberdefense located in the heart of the Vosges mountains. Selected following a call for projects by the Saint-Dié-des-Vosges agglomeration community, Wood Constructors will intervene in the accommodation part of the campus as both developer and operator. This project, valued at €10 million, anticipates the start of construction in the first half of 2026. Over the period from 2026 to 2030, the group's backlog represents a potential business volume exceeding €300 million, encompassing all projects under study or development at various stages of progress.
