2CRSi Partners with Canadian Quanthor for Critical Infrastructure
2CRSi and Canadian company Quanthor have sealed an industrial collaboration aimed at critical infrastructure (defense, space, energy). The agreement targets the integration of server platforms from the Strasbourg-based group into hardware security modules developed by its Quebec partner.
A Letter of Intent to Structure the Collaboration
2CRSi (Euronext Paris: 2CRSi) and Quanthor, a Canadian company specializing in sovereign hardware security, announced on August 4, 2026 the signing of a letter of intent aimed at structuring technological and industrial collaboration for the most critical environments.
The partnership combines Quanthor's hardware trust layer, based on physically unclonable functions (PUF) and post-quantum cryptography (PQC), with 2CRSi's HPC, AI and ruggedized computing platforms.
The two companies are targeting defense, space, energy and sensitive infrastructure markets. Quanthor develops its technologies in Sherbrooke, Quebec, while 2CRSi is based in Strasbourg.
Server Procurement and Technical Adaptations
The agreement provides for several areas. 2CRSi will assist Quanthor in the procurement and integration of server platforms intended for the deployment of Forge and Qbox modules, Quanthor's hardware solutions enabling high-assurance physical authentication of critical assets.
The two companies will also work on technical adaptations specific to the certification constraints of target markets, with a commitment to progressive procurement by Quanthor from 2CRSi.
A Claimed Sovereign Positioning
According to Gaël Humbert, CEO of Quanthor, this partnership marks "the beginning of a technological corridor between Canada and Europe". The two groups claim an alternative designed outside American and Chinese spheres of influence, from Quebec and Alsace.
Alain Wilmouth, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of 2CRSi, stated that he wishes to "support technological projects with strong strategic value" linked to digital sovereignty and the securing of critical infrastructure.
The announcement comes after the publication, on July 23, 2026, of revenue of €416.2 million for the 2025/26 fiscal year, up 88% year-on-year.
